Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Hutchwise at hutchwise.com, which is operated by Sharp Technologies LLC. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Hutchwise.

Using Hutchwise

You must be at least 18 years old. Hutchwise is a record-keeping tool for rabbitries. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for any decisions you make about your animals. Hutchwise does not give veterinary, breeding or legal advice.

Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.

Your herd data

Your records belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run Hutchwise for you. You can download a copy at any time and delete your account whenever you like. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Free trial and Pro

• New accounts get a free trial of 30 days with full access, including a limited number of photo scans.
• After the trial, an account without Pro becomes view-only: you can still look at your records, download a backup and send feedback, but you cannot add or change records or use photo scans.
• Pro costs $1.99 per month and includes continued editing and a monthly allowance of photo scans. It is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the Account section of the app. Pro then continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• We may change prices or plan limits. We will give notice before a change affects your next payment.
• If you believe you were charged in error, email us at noreply@hutchwise.com or use the Feedback page inside the app and we will look into it.

Photo scan

The photo scan reads text automatically and can make mistakes. Always check the details it finds against your original papers before saving them. Scan results are a convenience, not an official record.

Shared rabbit database

If you choose to turn on the optional shared rabbit database, you confirm that you have the right to share the pedigree facts you contribute and that they are accurate to the best of your knowledge. You give us permission to store them and show them to other signed-in users. Entries are not official registry records, and we may correct, merge or remove entries, for example if they are disputed or reported as wrong. You can turn sharing off at any time; entries already added describe animals and stay in the database. See the Privacy Policy for what is shared.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• break the law or use Hutchwise to store or share anything unlawful;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or to disrupt or overload the service;
• use automated tools to scrape, bulk-create accounts or abuse the photo scan;
• upload malicious code, or reverse engineer the service.

We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other users at risk.

No affiliation with registries

Hutchwise is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) or any other breed registry. Registry names are used only to describe the documents Hutchwise can help you record, and belong to their owners. Records kept in Hutchwise are not official registry records.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Hutchwise available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. Keep regular backups of your records using the download options in the app.

Ending your use

You can stop using Hutchwise and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service, and we will try to give you reasonable notice and time to download your data where we can.

Disclaimers

Hutchwise is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises of any particular result, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data, and our total responsibility to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits anything that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if a change is significant. Continuing to use Hutchwise after a change means you accept it.
